    Hybrid working. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are mandated in office days. On Monday and Friday staff can choose to work from home.

    The Diversity Standards Collective (The DSC) is the world's cultural research agency.

    Working with our diverse, intersectional Collective, we specialise in connecting organisations with diverse, intersectional communities to uncover deep cultural insights.

    Our clients include the world's biggest brands and creative agencies, including McDonalds, Danone, Netflix, Amazon, Mother London, Mindshare and Pablo.

    As a business, we are entering a new phase of growth, with a strong focus on our research.
    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Cultural Researcher.

    In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing our research and insights team to deliver world class cultural research projects for our clients.

    Day to day this is an operational role, with additional opportunities to help develop our research methodology and conduct proprietary DSC research.

    We are seeking a candidate with a drive to deliver world class research, and the desire to make an impact in a dynamic startup environment


    Project delivery:
    research planning and delivery
    Plan, execute and lead analysis of all research projects, from project scoping to client playback.
    Ensure that research methodologies and approaches are rigorous, efficient, and aligned with project objectives.

    Serve as quality control at every stage of project delivery, including question scripting, proofreading, upholding respondent quality standards, and deliverable creation.

    Provide strategic direction and vision for the research and insights function, aligning it with the company's overall objectives and goals.

    Define and deliver the standard for world class cultural research
    Define and cultivate team culture, building and unifying a world class research team
    Lead and mentor the research team, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning.
    Ensure high-quality deliverables and serve as quality control for all research outputs
    Take responsibility for professional development for the team, including personal development plans and up-skilling on research best practice
    Work with the team to deliver DSC research projects including our quarterly research, ad hoc, polls, and our Collective and client newsletters
    Joining client scoping calls, maintaining case studies and being a trusted voice for the research and methodology

    Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, insight generation and narrative creation that focuses on human truths and cultural nuance.

    Degree in a related field (e.g., market research, business administration, psychology, sociology).

    Minimum 6 years of experience in research and insights roles, with a proven track record of leading successful qualitative research initiatives.

    Experience working with communities with protected characteristics is a plus.
