    Senior Estimator

    Hours of work: 40 hours per week

    Location: Enfield, London and travel around sites in Southeast

    Project Partners are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in Enfield, London. Are you ready for a fresh challenge? Are you eager for career advancement?

    Role Purpose

    The Senior Estimator plays a vital role in the pre-construction phase, ensuring precise and competitive project cost estimates in alignment with relevant company policies and processes. This position is critical in facilitating the company's expansion by securing profitable projects through thorough and well-informed bidding procedures.

    Role Summary

    • Capable of conducting take-offs from drawings / BIM CAD models.
    • Able to develop rates for labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors from scratch.
    • Accountable for meeting all tender requirements within specified timeframes.
    • Comprehension of contract specifications, obligations, roles, and duties.
    • Conduct tender assessments within set deadlines.
    • Prepare / price tender submissions with the most favorable, accurate net bids adhering to any existing framework agreements / rates.
    • Address any issues in individual tenders or groups of bids that may pose operational difficulties or increase company risks.
    • Ensure tenders include adequate provision for health and safety considerations.
    • Ensure tenders are based on realistic project delivery schedules.
    • Supervise and guide the estimating team.

    Experience Required

    • Demonstrated history of successful bidding and project acquisition.
    • Expertise in leading and mentoring an estimator team.
    • Familiarity with the utility sector.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Thorough understanding of construction materials, techniques, and industry standards.
    • Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools.
