    Finance Coordinator & Company Administrator

    50 per hour. Opus roles track the Living Wage Foundation living wage (higher than the National Living Wage).

    This role will be fulfilled remotely, with scope to work flexibly from home and with the rest of the team at our regular co-working days.

    We offer flexible working, so you will be able to choose your working days and decide whether to work remotely and/or come along to our regular co-working sessions at a variety of locations in Sheffield.

    In addition to your regular annual leave allowance (28 days for full time roles, pro rata), you will also receive bonus annual leave from 24th December to 1st January inclusive, every year.

    If for any reason you are unable to take your full quota of annual leave in a year, you will be able to carry up to three days into the following year.

    Interviews will take place on Monday 20th May 2024 on Zoom (or another video call platform, on request).
    Experience of at least two years working in finance and administration.
    Experience of forecasting, budgeting and creating management accounts.
    Good working knowledge of Excel, Google suite, Xero.
    Knowledge of Payroll and Employment Practice Regulations including job retention, parental leave, sick pay.
    Confidence working with Xero.
    Experience of project management.
    Experience analysing financial information.
    Confidence improving and developing new systems for financial reporting and analysis.
    Process and pay invoices received, expenses, payroll and any other outgoing payments.
    Liaise with Directors and Accountant to prepare figures for monthly payroll.
    Track and report on staff annual leave and overtime.
    Update and report on Management Accounts.
    Performing regular financial analysis and reporting to Directors.
    Liaise with our accountant to prepare monthly and annual formal accounts.
    Work with staff to develop financial modelling for future projects.
    Track and report on project budgets and restricted funding.
    We incubate and deploy services, projects, platforms, decentralised networks and movements proportionate to the challenges ahead.
