    If you want your ideas to be heard and to contribute to a culture of inclusion and authenticity, bring us your voice Oversees all Quality Assurance, Food Safety, & Compliance systems and activities within (market scope) with the intent to consistently deliver on our promise to the Customer of safe and compliant assured supply using a large diverse and dynamic network of packaging suppliers.

    Be the face to the Customer quality, food safety, and compliance of packaging focusing on more strategic versus tactical matters

    • Establish and maintain relationships with the Customer so that timely communication of information about product performance and safety is delivered
    o Provide timely and accurate objective data to Customer SCM and QA leads

    • o Quality
    o Food Safety

    • Manage complaint handling and follow up. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers to enable transparent and timely communication of quality, food safety, and compliance related matters
    • Ensure Global Quality and Safety Requirements (GQSR) manual is understood and met by suppliers
    • Visit supplier's plants to evaluate and assure adherence to safety, process control, quality control, equipment maintenance, and sanitation processes.
    Lead continuous improvement in quality performance across product categories with supplier partners and category teams to include, but not limited to:

    o Supplier QA reviews and audits (e.g.

    o Implement supplier quality metrics through formal audits, e.g., complaint rate, quality scorecards, supplier ranking mechanism, GMP/HACCP, SQMS, social accountability, etc.

    o Monitor product performance at suppliers and stores. Actively manage non- conformances from the field
    o Implement Critical to Quality (CTQ) and Over the counter (OTC/ATCQ) programs
    o Assure that a workable mock recovery program and crisis action plans are in place, communicated, and understood
    o Conduct regular product evaluations of local supplier production versus target products and monitor product quality performance

    • Ensure packaging standards and specifications are understood, enforced, and complied
    • Put in place the proactive quality systems and protocols and lead suppliers in the continuous improvement efforts
    • Support EU projects, as a coach and resource for Supplier Technical Roundtables
    • Engage with and build relationships with industry groups and associations and use their knowledge of emerging issues and contacts with regulatory and legislative bodies
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with HAVI internal collaborators and cross-functional resources to enable transparent and timely communication of quality, food safety, and compliance related matters
    • Support market leads in business reviews and other relevant customer-facing opportunities to help message and articulate packaging quality requirements
    • Understand the business and connect the dots on how Quality, Food Safety, and Compliance are key business drivers
    At least 8 years' experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment where they were responsible for raw materials through production to finished goods

    • A further 5 years in senior management capacity and customer interface.
    • Good oral and written communication skills in English and a local language of assignment
    • Science related degree and/or certification from a reputable organization in quality-related field
    • Technical knowledge on paper/plastic products and quality management systems
    • Work closely with suppliers on quality programs
    • Demonstrate knowledge of quality practices and principles in a proactive manner to lead supply partners and to educate the Customer
    • Experience in Packaging manufacturing industry would be highly beneficial but not a prerequisite.
