    The Role The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions within the Salesforce platform.

    This role requires strong technical expertise, problem- solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high- quality solutions that meet business requirements.

    Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement Salesforce solutions based on business requirements using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies.
    Customise and extend Salesforce functionality through configuration, custom development, and integration with third-party systems.

    Collaborate with business stakeholders along with the Salesforce Administrator to gather requirements, analyse user needs, and translate them into technical solutions.

    Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and workflows to support business processes. Perform unit testing, code reviews, and deployment activities to ensure the quality and stability of Salesforce applications.
    Provide technical guidance and collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator.
    Stay current with best practices to optimise platform usage and enhance system capabilities.
    Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Salesforce ecosystem.
    Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities in accordance with organisational standards and guidelines.
    Document and plan transfer/training sessions with the Salesforce Administrator at the end of the contract.
    Any other additional duties as deemed necessary to support the business.

    Candidate RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related certified Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II certification preferred.

    Extensive experience in Salesforce development, including hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
    Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security model, and best practices.
    Proficiency in Salesforce administration tasks such as user management, permission sets, profiles, roles, and sharing rules for project work.
    Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques, such as REST/SOAP APIs and Salesforce Connect.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    Strong attention to detail and ensures accuracy in coding, testing, and documentation activities to deliver high-quality solutions. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
    Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies is desirable.
    Knowledge of Salesforce Account Engagement desirable.
