Aramark UK is recruiting for an experienced, qualified and commercially astute Finance Manager to join the high performing team working for one of our key North West accounts.

As Finance Manager, you will take the lead for all finances on the contract and join the leadership and management teams to drive and improve holistic business performance in a growth oriented, service focused business environment.

The Finance Manager will work closely with the operational teams to ensure the financial close process and ultimately the management information created is both robust and used to support decision making to improve performance.

This role will be integral in setting up new systems and processes, with support from our team of experts.

A day in the life of a Finance Manager:
Reviewing key KPI's to help drive the contracts profitability for both Aramark and the client (including but not limited to ATV's, Penetration rates, room occupancy rates, gross profits, labour ratios)

Working closely with the sales team to look at Wish, Want, Walk rates to ensure maximisation of space utilisation and profitabilityReviewing the pricing policy in all areas of the business to ensure inflation is recovered and key margins are maintainedEnsuring 100% compliance to the agreed supply chain to ensure maximum commercial benefit is delivered for both Aramark and clientProducing management information for both Aramark/Client as requested in line with determined contractual KPI'sEnsuring the daily/weekly/periodic accounting activities are complete in a timely and accurate mannerProducing the month end management accounts, ensuring all revenues and costs are captured and reported in the correct accounting periodActing as the gate keeper to ensure that department heads are goods receipting deliveries within Aramark systems and ensuring any non-EDI invoices are processed and accounted for in correct accounting periodsOrganising the invoicing of revenues to 3rd patties and the client – ensuring these are paid to terms 100% of the timePreparing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the contract balance sheet is a true and fair representation of its assets/liabilitiesYou'll be set up for success if you have:

Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience working in a commercial contract catering environmentExtensive experience of financial systems & Microsoft Office packages, particularly ExcelExperience of setting up new processes in new environmentsAble to engage with and guide colleagues from all levels and backgrounds on the financialsAbility to influence those around them to promote and improve performanceSelf-motivated and pro-active, constantly looking to challenge and improve current working practicesAbility to engage others and influence them and to build strong working relationships across all departments to deliver and improve outcomesAbility to work in a diverse and dynamic environment and promote cross functional teamworkAbility to multi-task and remain professional under pressureIs resourceful and can identify new ways of doing things and find solutions to problems as they presentA keen attention to detail and able to spot and prevent errors before they become issuesAbout Aramark UKAramark is a leading service and solutions provider in the UK.
