    InsurX's mission is to bring the $300bn complex commercial insurance industry into the 21st century.

    We're doing that by growing our two-sided digital exchange which allows brokers and insurers to algorithmically trade risks using data.

    We're a startup founded in 2021, and we're looking for great people to join our fast-growing early-stage team. The "corporate & specialty" insurance market is "pre-Big Bang".

    We'll make a success of this by building a company which trades insurance in a new way:
    one that combines insurance expertise with outside talent. We're looking for someone to join InsurX, as Digital Underwriter.

    You'll be responsible for the accurate implementation of all rule changes and adaptations through their lifecycle and use underwriting knowledge to identify opportunities for growth.

    Use your experience and network to establish new rules in collaboration with new and existing customers to continue to scale the reach of the Exchange


    Lead on implementation:

    Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Underwriting operations teams to optimise the implementation of the algorithmic rules and maximise revenue potential.

    Be responsible for ensuring adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements across insurance products traded through the Exchange You'll be accountable for any issues which may arise both with customers and internally.

    Help shape new insurance products traded through the Exchange. Be on the front foot in identifying key areas of opportunity or concern for implementation.
    Establish and maintain good working relationships with all customers trading through the Exchange and their Senior Management.

    Shout about the work we're doing to modernise the syndication of risk, retain close interest in market movements, leverage your market contacts, and identify opportunities for growth.

    Bring 5-8 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a background in underwriting
    Experience in presenting to senior level executives is ideal.
