    The Governors of this happy, vibrant and rapidly improving Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a positive and motivated non-class-based Assistant Head Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: EYFS and supporting the development of the curriculum.

    The Governors are looking to recruit a non-class-based Assistant Head Teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning particularly within the EYFS; who can support with the planning and development of a high quality and inspiring curriculum and who can support the leadership team in developing the teaching and learning in school, ensuring that standards continue to rise and the school continues its rapid improvement journey.

    • is a practising Catholic or willing to promote the ethos and practices of our Catholic school
    • is a highly effective practitioner with expectations of excellence who leads by example
    • is passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
    • has experience of leading and impacting in a subject area
    • can work as part of the senior leadership team to develop practice, motivate and inspire others
    • can monitor rigorously and systematically for the progression of knowledge and skills throughout the curriculum
    • is innovative, forward thinking, creative and resilient
