Description

Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with this expanding luxury travel company based in West Kent who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Finance Assistant you will work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounts role within travel is essential to be considered for this role.

Please note that this is a fully office based role in West Kent.

The role:

Processing and payment of invoices
Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns
Investigation and resolution of supplier and travel partners queries
Preparation and monitoring payment of sales invoices and chasing commission
Monthly reporting

You will have:

3-5 years experience in a similar accounts role (essential)
Previous experience working in the travel industry
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Knowledge of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP (advantageous)

Additional Information:

Salary £28-30,000 depending on experience
