    Description
    De Borealis Hotel Groep is op zoek naar een ambitieuze Assistant Financial Controller. Je wordt een belangrijke schakel in een cluster van maar liefst 12 hotels en groeiend. Je werkt nauw samen met de Cluster Director of Finance en het finance team. Daarnaast heb je veel en direct contact met de Hotel Managers, wat betekent dat je op zowel strategisch als operationeel gebied te werk gaat.
    Hoe ziet je werkdag eruit?
    Werken in de hospitality staat voor teamwork én gezelligheid, wat je dan ook terugvindt in je werk. Je start de dag met een heerlijke kop koffie of thee en neemt dag door met de Cluster Director of Finance, jouw leidinggevende en coach. Het is de maandafsluiting, dus je weet dat je straks de P&L voor de verschillende hotels moet aanleveren. Je werkt samen met het team on - site voor de controle op de cijfers, en ook met een extern supportbureau.
    De maandafsluiting voorloopt voorspoedig en ondertussen wordt je gevraagd eens kritisch door de balans van twee hotels te lopen. Dit is jouw moment om met een analytische blik door de rapportage te gaan en eventuele correcties c.q. aanpassingen op te merken, waarna je dit gaat bespreken met de betreffende Hotel Manager. In de namiddag doe je een one - to one met de Cluster Financial Controller. Hierbij bespreek je o.a. wat voor actiepunten je hebt bij jouw bezoek aan een van de hotels morgen. Hierna is de dag alweer voorbij; wat een heerlijke dag weer
    Wie ben jij?
    Als Assistant Financial Controller heb je al allround financiële ervaring die je meebrengt. Je hebt ervaring in het opstellen van rapportages, waaronder budgetten en rapportages. Je hebt kijk op cash flow management en in het opvolgen en implementeren van de relevante policies. Je ziet trends in rapportages, spot gemakkelijk de nodige aanpassingen en weet op een duidelijke manier jouw visie over te brengen. In deze rol heb je een hoge mate van verantwoordelijkheid, waar jij je gemakkelijk bij voelt. Natuurlijk zijn wij er om je verder te coachen - en te ontwikkelen waar nodig.
    Je hebt al minimaal drie jaar ervaring binnen de accounting afdeling van hotels.
    Je hebt kennis van PMS software, payroll software en boekhoud software zoals Exact Online, Elvy is een pre.
    Je bent sterk in de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, in gesprek en schrift.
    Je hebt goede Microsoft Office skills, vooral in Word, Excel en Teams.
    Je hebt goede skills in het trainen van hotel teams op het gebied van policies en SOP's
    Je bent voldoende op de hoogte van huidige / recente wet - en regelgeving, alsmede accountingrichtlijnen en procedures.
