    Communications Coordinator And Editor (Remote)
    Communications Coordinator And Editor | Membership Bespoke |UK

    Communications Editor International Membership BodyHome Based Remote WorkingBasic Salary £45,000 – £48,000 Permanent Role, Full TimeOur client a leading, reputable, and well-regarded InternationalMembership Body with 670 company members from around 70 countries iscurrently recruiting for a Communications Editor.

    Job Responsibilities Communications/PRMailChimpSocial Media/NewsWebsite ManagementProofreadingBarter AgreementsEvents Attendance (PR)Communications AdministrationEditor 4 issues per year – Spring, Summer, Conference/Autumn and Winter.

    Gather content for each issue – Conference Chair editorial,Executive Committee Chair piece, "My Favourite" article, Socio-Economicreport, new Members list, any sponsors or exhibitors for the Conferenceedition.

    Write feature articles about the speaker programme, new members,retirements, new staff, and post Conference articles.
    Set deadlines to receive content – usually 6 weeks before eachissue is due to be posted out.
    Work with the designer on layout, content, pagination, and design.

    Download the mailing list and send it to the printer, get a print quotefrom the printer each month, and project manage the print and mailingprocess with the printer.

    Create an online interactive version of each issue to add to the websiteand email via MailChimp.
    At least 5 years' experience in communications work.
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in writing andproof-reading.
    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Strong IT skills (Excel, Google Apps, MailChimp, WordPress, WooCommerce,Vimeo, Flickr) Ability and initiative to work alone along with ability to work wellwithin a team structure.

    Ready and able to substitute for any other member of staff duringabsence, holiday or illness should this be required.
    Experience and ability in working from home office.
    Fluent English language with excellent writing skills.
