- The position involves contributing to the marketing and sales procedures, managing inbound leads, conducting site visits, analyzing customer energy consumption, and proposing technological solutions.
- Establishing enduring relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Collaborating with our in-house design team and utilizing software packages to devise client-centered solutions.
- Coordinating with the connections team to ensure timely submission, management, and approval of grid applications.
- Evaluating customer requirements and presenting optimal technical proposals through presentations.
• Conducting commercial modeling to assess opportunities' viability and attain key performance benchmarks. - Generating sales quotations while adhering to business model guidelines.
- Collaborating with pre-construction and installation teams to meet customer expectations.
- Maintaining project schedules, risk registers, budgets, and overseeing projects through our internal project management process, including milestone reviews and Project Information Document.
- Utilizing CRM software to manage sales pipeline, track project progress, and generate monthly reports.
- Facilitating project handover to construction for ownership, operation, and maintenance.
- Providing regular reports to Senior Management.
- Meeting personal and team sales targets.
- Representing the company in workshops, industry forums, and working groups as required.
- The role involves travel, hence access to personal transportation is necessary, with occasional overnight stays if needed.
- Proven experience as a Sales or Business Development Manager within the energy sector, with a preference for solar industry experience.
- Demonstrated track record in energy-related roles.
- Sound market knowledge in the energy sector.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to cultivate rapport effectively.
- Proficient in time management and planning.
- Preferably holds a degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales management.
- Capable of grasping technical concepts and conveying them clearly to customers.
- Adopts a professional, ethical approach with a customer-centric focus.
