    NATIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE — wholesale channel

    Excellent basic plus 30% bonus, £5k car allowance & benefits

    Home-based in South England or Midlands

    THE COMPANY

    A global confectionery branded business which continues to experience unprecedented growth across both UK & international markets, driven by exceptional consumer purchasing, fuelling ever-increasing rates-of-sale through wholesale, high street retail and grocery retail multiple accounts.

    They have a highly collaborative sales & marketing team that works with pace, enthusiasm and a clear, well-invested, brand-led marketing strategy focused on consumer insight-led, product innovative, effective brand communications and driving targeted trade listings, distribution and promotional activities. Their brands and target consumers echo a strong sense of fun and energy which sets the cultural tone across this supportive yet driven business.

    THE ROLE

    As part of their continued investment for growth our client is looking to appoint another home-based National Account Executive who will report to the Wholesale Team Lead. This exciting new role will take responsibility for developing existing customers and winning new accounts within the Wholesale and Cash & Carry channel. You will shape brand-led trading proposals, contact buyers and build relationships to help drive new points of distribution for a range of highly engaging, added-value and fast-selling products.

    Above all, the role is about connecting with the brand's personality and going out each day to 'SELL' the brand and product proposition with authority, energy, enthusiasm and ambition to achieve your commercial objectives.

    The successful candidate will receive further development coaching and will be fully supported by the senior commercial team, to provide a platform for you to step up to full NAM status within the next few years.

    THE CANDIDATE

    Having graduated, your 3-5 year career in FMCG sales has successfully developed within a major branded food, drink or confectionery business in a Territory Sales or Business Development role. Alternatively, you may have progressed into a RAM or NAE role and are now looking to join a more progressive business. You have developed a sound understanding of modern account management activities, which must include a basic level of experience with negotiation and category insight-led, fact-based selling within any of the major retail or wholesale channels.

    You are now seeking a career move into a more flexible working environment where you will have greater responsibly and the freedom to take commercial selling decisions and really go out and make things happen. Oh, and your sales results will be fully appreciated and recognised across the international commercial team and the wider business.
