- Develop and create comprehensive tech packs & BOMs in PLM, ensuring alignment with design aesthetics, fit requirements, and construction specifications.
- Independently manage styles/ranges from concept through to launch, maintaining adherence to key calendar milestones.
- Lead fitting sessions and proto reviews, providing clear instructions to vendors to ensure prototypes accurately reflect construction specifications.
- Interface with Asia team counterparts to streamline the development process and optimize prototype approval.
- Foster a collaborative approach to product development, working closely with in-house sampling teams and design to concept before engaging with vendors.
- Identify styles requiring wearer testing and manage accordingly, incorporating relevant consumer & QA feedback to enhance product quality.
- Ensure consumer needs and sustainability targets drive development decision-making and product engineering.
- Ensure timely project delivery and cost efficiency through rigorous product/cost engineering and manufacturing feasibility assessment.
- Propose cost-saving solutions to achieve and exceed seasonal margin targets while balancing creativity and functionality.
- Stay abreast of market trends and industry innovations, actively researching and integrating new insights into product development strategies.
- Collaborate with materials & trims team on new fabric/trim & application developments to ensure products meet performance requirements.
- Cultivate key relationships cross-functionally to meet seasonal targets and deliver quality products against target margins.
- Drive the development of new product innovation from concept to commercial viability.
- Technical product development experience preferably within sports/outdoor apparel.
- Excellent garment construction and fit engineering skills.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Key influencing and negotiating skills.
- Experience with technical fabrics and componentry.
- Familiarity with PLM, Adobe Illustrator, and/or 3D software (CLO, Browzwear) preferred.
- Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate with flexibility, initiative, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
