    Omdia , a key brand within Informa Tech, is a research subscription and consulting business who are global leaders in Service Provider, Media, Technology, Manufacturing and Semiconductor industries.

    To further grow in 2023 and beyond, we're looking for an Account Manager to join our EMEA Team.

    The Account Manager will report directly to the Sales Director and will be focused on the Consumer and Media market in EMEA, responsible for driving revenue growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding our market share.

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the consumer and media industry, a proven track record in B2B sales, and the ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.

    They will be tasked with planning and delivering sales results through their own experience and knowledge - also through building partnerships with the wider ecosystem of analysts, consultants, and account managers across the Omdia organisation.

    Working with senior management and regional peers (US/APAC) to define and execute an EMEA new business plan.

    Form close, trust-based relationships with the local EMEA teams across the ecosystem (many of whom are based in the London HQ).

    Reporting accurate forecasting and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders, highlighting revenue risks and opportunities.

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to drive growth in the consumer market across the EMEA region.

    Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the media sector in the EMEA region.
    Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying potential clients.


    Relationship Management:

    Sales Targets and Reporting:
    Set ambitious sales targets and work towards exceeding them, contributing to the overall company revenue goals.
    Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
    Utilize CRM tools for efficient pipeline management and reporting.

    Communicate effectively with internal teams to share market insights and contribute to product/service enhancements.

    The ability to demonstrate a consultative approach when working with business-to-business buyers of research and consulting services.

    Has gravitas and mental agility when presenting solutions, creates proposals and close sales based on thoughtful analysis of customer needs and expectations.
