Our Manor House and Camp Site is set in 50 acres of country estate and boasts a host of land and water based activities.
We run residential activity holidays in our house and our Podded and Tented Villages for schools of all ages and abilities.
We are a friendly outdoor centre who operate for the sole purpose of giving young people an outdoor adventurous experience.
We are a charity and therefore our goal is not money but to give young people experiences that last forever.
We offer accommodation free of charge and give all our staff access to a shared catering facility. We provide free uniform and for the right staff also offer courses to develop our staff.Blackwell Adventure Kids Co-ordinator
The role of the Kids Co-ordinator is essential in the smooth running of the Centre. You will effectively look after a school that is staying at our Outdoor Centre.
Organise their stay, liase with the instructors who deliver the activity sessions and take a leading role in the evening sessions.
On a normal day at Blackwell you will work and liase with the teachers who are staying with the children on their residential who are mainly year 4 to year 6 students.
You will organise the kids on a daily basis getting them ready for sessions where the activity instructors will then take them off and deliver amazing sessions with them.
You will see the kids through 3 meals a day where our catering team will feed them.When the kids are off on sessions we may be building a camp fire getting ready for the evening session or just planning for the rest of the trip.
You will also need to take some down time whilst the kids are out.This is a really fun role for someone who loves working with kids, is polite.
The days are long but you get every weekend off and time off in the day whilst the kids are out enjoying activities.
We can supply accommodation free of charge and access to a shared catering facility where you self cater cooking what you want when you wantThis is an amazing role for the right person who loves working with kids.
Good communication and time keeping, experience of working with kids or volunteering would be an advantage.
