- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in fine arts law.
- Proven experience in international art transactions and multi-jurisdictional legal issues.
- Demonstrable experience in contract drafting and negotiation within the fine arts sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and deliver high-quality client service and response.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capability to provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice.
- Fluency in English is required. Additional languages would be beneficial.
- Have strong client relationship management experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Travel to clients nationally and internationally as and when required.
- Hold a related bachelor's degree in the field.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Have excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Have exposure to UHNWI & Luxury environment.
- Be able to work autonomously.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a global/diverse outlook and understanding of cultures and traditions.
- Exhibit confidentiality, diplomacy and emotional intelligence.
- Provide expert legal advice on the buying, selling, and loaning of artworks, including the drafting and negotiating of related contracts.
- Advise on issues relating to copyright, intellectual property rights, moral rights, and reproduction rights within the fine arts sphere.
- Represent clients in disputes involving authenticity, provenance, restitution claims, and copyright infringements.
- Carry out due diligence checks on high-value art transactions.
- Provide legal guidance on issues concerning public and private art collections, including bequests, donations, and loans.
- Stay informed about current legislation, regulations, and industry practices related to the fine arts sector.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, arts institutions, and industry experts.
- Provide legal counsel on risk management and dispute resolution related to fine arts matters.
- Knowledge of private client services, tax, and regulatory matters related to the fine arts sector.
- A strong commercial approach and understanding of the fine arts market.

Due to the continued rapid growth of the business, we are pleased to be recruiting a Fine Arts Solicitor with a minimum of 15 years of experience. The right candidate will join a team of solicitors specialising in various areas of law and act on behalf of a broad range of UHNW clients in the U.K & abroad.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the law as it applies to the world of fine arts, including art transactions, copyright and intellectual property issues, and dispute resolution. This role will involve providing legal advice and services to a diverse range of clients, including artists, galleries, museums, collectors, and auction houses.
