- Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs)to identify training needs and develop comprehensive learning objectives.
- Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and job aids, to meet the identified learning needs.
- Deliver training programs through various channels, such as classroom sessions, virtual classrooms, webinars, and workshops, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and engagement.
- Facilitate training sessions, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, and adapting delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and participant needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback surveys, and other evaluation methods, and make necessary improvements to enhance training outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in learning technologies to continuously enhance the quality and relevance of training programs.
- Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to support the onboarding of new employees and the ongoing development of existing staff members.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to employees to reinforce learning and promote skill application in the workplace.
- Assist in the development and implementation of career development plans and succession planning initiatives.
- Maintain training records and reports, tracking training participation, effectiveness, and impact on employee performance.
- Exception in role requires frequent travel between Marcus UK offices in Milton Keynes and Birmingham, with occasional travel to London.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and analyze data to measure training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience as an L&D Trainer or similar role, with a track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
- Strong understanding of customer service experience and fundamentals of training
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Learning and Development role – delivery and/or design
- Product knowledge across Banking and Savings within retail banking
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and other software to deliver high quality materials
- Customer service / Training experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional certifications in training, instructional design and/or learning and development

Learning and Development Trainer - Analyst
YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic L&D Trainer to join our Learning and Development team. As an L&D Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of our employees. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within Marcus.
