    Description
    For nearly 70 years, AWE has been at the forefront of nuclear weapons research and development. We also use our unique skills to provide wider UK government with counter-terrorism and nuclear threat reduction solutions.

    We need an AWE some Finance Fixed Asset Manager to join our team at AWE to support in shaping and delivering our annual objectives.


    Location:
    Our offices are based in Berkshire, RG7 4PR between Reading and Basingstoke with onsite parking.

    We are currently embarking on one of the biggest and most exciting projects in Europe and you will play a BIG part in this.

    Qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
    Working with a range of stakeholders internally and with the Defence Nuclear Organisation (DNO)
    Providing Fixed Asset, Liability and Inventory Reporting to the DNO, ensuring quality of service
    ~ Fixed Asset Reporting ensuring quality of service, including Asset Change Notes (ACN), Asset Delivery Schedule (ADS), Assets Under Construction (AUC), evidence to support capitalisation of builds, annual reviews on asset life, impairments, and verifications

    ~ Collaborating with the business to ensure the appropriate MOD classifications are applied from project inception, with Asset information being maintained and controlled to ensure effective reporting.

    Maintaining the Internal Controls Assurance Framework (ICAF) for Fixed Asset Controls
    Be part of a growing team of finance professionals who drive change through innovation and modern technologies.

    Inspiring confidence and trust in the ability of finance to support business needs

    Provision of insight on financial and wider business implication

    Working collaboratively with Finance teams and other functions to ensure that senior leadership have the right information and advice.
