ZS Associates' Business Technology group focuses on strategizing, designing and building marketing and sales technology solutions to improve commercial effectiveness. The types of solutions include enterprise information management, reporting, analytics, CRM/SFA and business process automation enablement leveraging Big Data Technologies, AI/ML and Advance Analytics techniques. We provide a complete spectrum of business technology solutions, from strategy and roadmap definition to full implementation and on-going operations. Our team possesses deep expertise in leading analytic, business intelligence, CRM and system integration technologies, Big Data, AI/ML which we apply in a pragmatic fashion to create and deliver optimal architecture and implementation solutions.

Role Description:

We are looking for a strong Technology Leader who brings deep experience operating at the intersection of delivery excellence and business development. Within this role, you will lead one or more client accounts with the objective to

1) Establish and strengthen relationship with client's executive technology stakeholders

2) Build a strong understanding of ZS technology offerings and solution, combined with your deep experience within technology advisory space

3) Support business development opportunities by ideating and/or identifying opportunities within the client's Technology portfolio utilizing the combination of your deep tech experience with ZS technology offerings

4) Work with ZS teams to create compelling point of views and responses to RFPs

5) Apply your deep technology and delivery experience, in collaboration with diverse global teams, to deliver excellent engagement outcomes

6) Be a thought and innovation leader by bringing industry leading perspectives on Data, Digital, and AI, combined with innovations developed in house

7) Build ZS market recognition by building and co-presenting technology innovations and success stories

You are a senior Technology advisory and consulting leader with 12+ years of experience in selling and implementing multiple client engagements that consist of one or more of the following: Data solution architecture/data engineering/platform modernization using Cloud technologies (spanning data ingestion, transformation, processing, consumption/visualization), ML/AI/GenAI capabilities, business application development using custom development and low code-no code techniques, Enterprise Information & Data management, MDM, Data Governance, process automation, Insights and Analytics.

Optional but strongly preferred experience includes understanding of Pharmaceutical sector and related processes that span Commercial Tech (Sales, Marketing), Medical/Regulatory, Pharma Supply Chain, Research & Clinical Development.

As a leader within the firm, you will be responsible for understanding the firm's service capability areas, products, and offerings in order to build innovative ideas and ways to serve clients by developing fit for purpose digital solutions. You will work with firm's practice area leaders across the globe, including the firm's experience centers in India to bring together strong teams, experiences, and expertise on client engagements.

The successful candidate will work closely with ZS leadership; grow the practice by expanding firm's technology portfolio, managing existing client relationships, generating new business engagements and building trusted advisory relationships with executives at the company's various accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead large scale client technology business development and delivery engagements in the Life Sciences Industry, with strong preference in Pharmaceutical sector;
• Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget;
• Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes;
• Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business;
• Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds;
• Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members;
• Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment;
• Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization;
• Demonstrate deep life sciences industry sector knowledge with a functional expertise across operations;
• Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge;
• Possess in depth business acumen;
• Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business or Life Sciences;
• MBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirable;
• 12 to 15+ years' experience in technology advisory services with a focus on Data, Analytics and Insights domain;
• 5+ years' experience in a leadership role within a professional services firm;
• Demonstrated experience with driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects with "C" level enterprise IT stakeholders, preferably within Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies;
• Prior experience in one or more of the following: Big Data/Cloud Data Platforms, Cloud Data Engineering (Lakes/Lakehouse/Delta Lakes, etc.), Digital Strategy and/or solutions, Enterprise Data Strategy and implementation which includes capanbilities such as Master Data Management, Data Governance, Metadata management, Data Catalog and Data Maketplaces;
• Good understanding or familiarity with customer application development using cloud native capabilities, process mining and automation, healthcare CRM (e.g. Veeva or SFDC) is a strong plus;
• Strong credentials and demonstrated success in IT strategy and Enterprise Architecture;
• Deep knowledge and understanding of BI/Visualization/Augmented Analytics technologies and solutions such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, ThoughtSpot or Tellius;
• Basic understanding of GenAI capabilities and application to various technology and business use cases
• Must have excellent oral and written skills, with the experience and ability to communicate with "C" level technology stakeholders
• Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge;
• Ability to lead a virtual team of consulting professionals across multiple projects;
• A high level of motivation and self-starting attitude;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• A strong work ethic;
• A willingness to travel to meet client needs;
• Executive-level presence and communication; along with English fluency in French is preferred
