    At Ocado Logistics, our teams are putting the world's retailers online using the cloud, robotics, AI, and IoT.

    We provide services to partner clients globally via our innovative advanced robotics technology, known as the Ocado Smart Platform ("OSP"), this drives our highly automated, multi-million pound Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs).

    In our CFCs - together with the proprietary software applications - we operate a world-class online grocery business that automates the single pick of products, ready for your online delivery.

    We are looking for proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Team Managers to work in our Service Delivery Spoke in Oxford.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the spoke operations to ensure all targets are met in an efficient and professional manner, without loss in performance to the business and within the site management structure.

    As a Team Manager you will lead the daily running of the spoke operations with responsibilities relating to all aspects of site safety and quality of service, delivering operational targets within the agreed budget and time frame.

    You will report to the Operations Manager and may be required to deputise in their absence, as well as handling all aspects of employee management such as probation periods, absence management and performance management.

    This role is for 40 hours per week, working a Mixed variation of 10 hour shifts on an any 4 days from 7 rotation, including regular weekend working and we have both P ermanent and Fixed Term

    You will continuously encourage self-improvement, training and development of your teams to support succession planning and aim to drive and develop initiatives that encourage site-wide engagement and enhance morale.

    Experience in conducting formal meetings, understanding and applying the relevant policies appropriately is desired.

    Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance are preferred and previous experience in a spoke/warehouse or logistics environment are essential.

    A current, valid UK driving licence and previous management experience is also an essential requirement.
