    Description

    Due to our huge success and continued expansion plans, we are looking for a reliable, energetic, enthusiastic individual to join our friendly branch to cover maternity leave.

    The role is within our Property Management department and involves direct contact with our landlords, tenants and contractors. The successful candidate will ideally be experienced within property management, with an excellent customer focused approach.

    This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, professional, and fast-paced environment where you will be working alongside a dedicated and hardworking team of people who are committed to customer service and success.

    Ideally you will be ARLA qualified or working towards this.

    Our main focus is to maintain the high standards of customer service to retain our landlord clients and have a good understanding of their individual needs.


    Duties include:
    General AdministrationAd-hoc duties for the Director and Branch ManagerLooking after a portfolio of propertiesBooking Inspections and sending reports to landlords once completed whilst flagging repairs and arranging necessary remedial workHandle general repairs and instruct the appropriate contractors, whilst liaising with Landlords and Tenants.
    Coordination of estimates and repairs Advise Landlords of maintenance required to their property in a proactive capacity

    Dealing promptly and courteously with communications from landlords and tenantsDeposit returns and liaising with the accounts team for return of deposits to tenantsBooking and maintaining accurate safety check records including gas, electrical and EPC checksproducing section notices as appropriate and any other variations of tenancyLiaising with utility companies Ensuring properties meet all regulatory health and safety standardsArranging and Completing all check in and check out proceduresProvide a service that ensures the smooth running of the property during the tenancy term.

    preparation of tenancy agreements preparation of tenancy files and associated documentsDay to Day correspondenceDealing with customers face to face and on the phoneAnswering telephone queriesGeneral office duties

    Skills Required:Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle Previous experience in a property manager role, however a strong background in a customer-facing and/or administrative role if no prior property management historyOutstanding customer service skillsA calm, unflappable person, with strength of character (required when dealing with issues like return of deposits or repairs required to a property)
    A systematic approach with strong administrative skills

    can work independently and be able to work as part of the team with a can do attitudeexcellent IT skills and have good literacy skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressureBe able to establish priorities, allocate amounts of time and stay aware of the relationship between activities not just for yourself but for others too.
