    Marketing Assistant – A local business magazine has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join their well-established team working from their office in Ipswich, Suffolk.

    They are an umbrella brand for magazines, events and website, all which aim to help people run their businesses better.

    All their content, whether face-to-face, on or offline seeks to motivate and inspire.

    Their passion is to provide content that is authentic and useful, whether that is local business leaders sharing their experience, or experts in their field sharing tips and advice on what to do, or where to find more help if they need it.


    Competitive Salary:

    On offer is a competitive salary of £23,000 - £25,000 per annum, pro rate for part time hours .

    Holiday: 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

    The Marketing Assistant is a new role, supporting the Commercial Director and the Publishing Editor with all facets of the business, including the magazines (Norfolk Director / Suffolk Director / Essex Director), their events, and their website.

    You will be creating and delivering marketing campaigns to target audiences, identifying networking and social events for the Commercial Director and Managing Editor to attend, identifying opportunities to promote UK Director Magazines, and in addition to attending their events, providing pre and post event support.

    Updating the website content, creating, and managing website adverts, and overseeing the CRM system.

    Coordinating the production of marketing collateral, creating, and delivering marketing campaigns via email, using Brevo / Mailchimp and managing the trackable links and analytics reports.

    Adapting PDFs and setting up basic artworks for events (gifs for socials / Power Point slides / sponsor panel) and website adverts.

    Helping to organise social events for supporters of the magazine.

    They are open to you working full time (37 hours) or part time hours (16 – 30 hours per week).

    Offering a salary of £23,000-£25,000 (pro rata for part time hours).

    You will be confident, articulate and possess good writing skills, with a particular interest in creative writing.

    It Is essential that you are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have a familiarity with WordPress and other marketing tools.

    A degree in English or marketing would also be desirable. You will need to hold a driving licence and have access to a car. They are a dog friendly business, so you must also like dogs
