We have an amazing opportunity for an Project Engineering Manager in a busy manufacturing company in the Bridgend area.

Our client are an innovative and successful privately owned SME that designs and manufactures hi-tech capital equipment for worldwide export with a head office in the UK and two overseas offices.

A vacancy has arisen for a Project Engineer to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects from development to manufacture; creating project schedules, allocating resources and managing timescales to optimise performance and delivery.

Direct and manage project development from concept to conclusion in-line with ISO9001
requirements, engaging with multi-discipline teams to understand project requirements
and constraints and communicate project expectations.

Lead all project engineering activities and serve as the primary point of contact for all

project stakeholders:

project meetings, design reviews, resource and task allocation.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, taking into

the Director of Engineering, recruit as necessary during project cycle.
* informed decision-making and resolving any issues to ensure project success.

Monitor project progress against established schedules, managing changes in project

Ensure project plans are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Hold post-project reviews to assess resource allocation effectiveness and project

performance, proposing / discussing any process improvements for future projects.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to HND / degree level in Engineering. and have a proven experience in engineering project control / management and new product introduction.

Job Specific Skills / Personal Qualities

Strong financial acumen and experience of managing project resources and budgets.
Proficiency in project management software tools and ability to generate documents,
