    Position Overview:

    The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of our Adtech company. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in both the Adtech industry and cryptocurrency, demonstrating a proven track record of financial leadership and strategic decision-making. This individual will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive financial growth, manage risk, and optimize performance in a rapidly changing digital landscape. This is an established start up which operates globally with 100+ employees. The successful candidate will be driven, collaborative, innovative and work within Adtech.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's short-term and long-term goals.
    • Provide strategic guidance and insights to the executive team on financial matters, market trends, and industry developments.
    • Drive financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support informed decision-making and resource allocation.

    Financial Management and Reporting:

    • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, treasury, and taxation.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Implement robust financial controls and systems to safeguard assets and optimize operational efficiency. Investment and Risk Management:
    • Evaluate investment opportunities and potential risks, providing recommendations to optimize returns and mitigate exposure.
    • Monitor market trends and economic indicators to assess potential impacts on the company's financial performance and strategic initiatives.
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company's financial interests and enhance resilience against market volatility.

    Cryptocurrency Expertise:

    • Leverage expertise in cryptocurrency to assess opportunities and risks related to digital asset management, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
    • Stay informed about emerging trends and regulatory developments in the cryptocurrency landscape, advising the executive team on potential implications for the company's financial strategy and operations.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to explore innovative applications of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology within the Adtech industry.

    Extra info:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. CIMA qualified
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with a focus on the Adtech industry and cryptocurrency.
    • Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic decision-making, with a demonstrated ability to drive financial growth and operational excellence.
    • Strong understanding of digital advertising technologies, platforms, and market dynamics.
    • In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital asset management.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
    • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business priorities and market conditions.
