Description
We are looking for a Finance Manager who can motivate and lead our finance team. This person should be capable of providing clear direction and guidance for a varied skill level team. A successful candidate will be able to delegate effectively and identify training gaps within the team.This person will be ultimately responsible for ensuring that our Finance team follow a best practice approach following a high standard of accuracy.
Providing clear communication with the key stakeholders is a vital part of this position and requires a confident individual.Key responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts including supporting reconciliationsReview control accounts reconciliations on a rolling basis to aid year end accounting including extract and checks on profit and loss analysisOversee bank reconciliationsMonitor the completion and production of sales and purchase ledger providing authorisationAssist with the preparation of year end accounts, including the provision of support and assistance during the annual audit ensuring it is delivered in a timely and effective mannerAuthorise bank payments and overheadsDay to day cash flow managementManage the annual budget processSubmission of monthly/quarterly returns to HMRCProvide reports and updates to the management teamComplete monthly 1-2-1's and annual Performance Development Reviews with the team to support development and identify areas for improvementsIdentify and report any risk identified in a timely manner to the Senior ManagementNegotiation of company insurancesWhat we are looking for:AAT / ACCA / CIMA or equivalentKnowledge of Access Dimensions would be beneficialExperienced in management of an accounts team / departmentAdvanced experience using excel and reportingExperience / knowledge of payrollExperienced in daily, weekly, monthly and annual accountingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsInterested?Register your interest by applying today or call Richard to discuss this opportunity further, always in complete confidence.
