- Boosting new business sales by selling aftersales service contracts for rotating equipment
- Fostering relationships with End Users and OEMs
- Working one day from home or office and four days engaging with customers to grow sales
- Main focus on new business development with responsibility for managing, nurturing, and enhancing existing business worth around £800,000 (+15% YOY)
- Overseeing the entire sales process from pipelining, attending tradeshows, delivering client presentations & demos, generating leads, evaluating sales opportunities, negotiating, procuring customers, and closing deals
- Handling RFQs, managing tender processes, and providing costed quotations for new business prospects
- Conducting contract and price negotiations
- Weekly and monthly sales performance reporting
- Prior experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or in Commercial Sales
- A proven history of new business expansion in respective markets
- Desirable expertise in Engineering Service Contracts, MRO Contracts, Water Industry, Rotating Equipment, Pumps, Valves, and more
- Ability to grasp technical solutions; preferential qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Residing in East Midlands, West Midlands, Lancashire, Yorkshire, or Northeast England
- Holder of a valid UK driving license
