So much so, its said that one year at easyJet is worth three elsewhere – that's 'Orange Years' and why joining us is so much more than a job, it's a career full of variety and possibility.

The Safety Risk team, under the supervision of the Head of Operational Risk & Business Resilience and the Director of Safety, Security & Compliance, is tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining safety risk management processes throughout easyJet. Comprised of a select group of experienced specialists, the team oversees safety investigations and operational readiness processes, maintaining the easyJet Safety Management System.

The role of Senior Safety Risk Specialists (SSRS) within the team is pivotal, reporting to the Operations Safety Risk Manager and focusing on enhancing company safety performance. Experience in risk management and conducting safety investigations is essential, along with the capacity to collaborate cross-functionally across all levels of the organisation and with various subject matter experts.

Strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to influence others are crucial, as is the proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior management. You should also demonstrate a knack for challenging the status quo and driving organisational change. Desirable qualifications include training or experience with risk management analysis tools and models, relevant certifications in airline operations risk management, completion of safety investigators courses, and previous experience in delivering training sessions.
