We have vacancy on Mark ward for a Band 6 senior staff nurse.
Are you a motivated, enthusiastic nurse with extensive post-registration experience in patient care and the emergency pathway? Mark Ward is an acute stroke and neuro -rehabilitation unit at GSTT.
As an essential part of the role you will be able to provide strong clinical leadership and assist the ward manager and deputies in leading the team, ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to patients and their families.
The Senior Staff role on Mark Ward forms integral in providing and contributing to stable and safe leadership within Stroke and Neurorehabilitation discipline at GSTT.
The duties and responsibilities of the post holder include supporting the nursing and MDT workforce in contributing to and delivering high standards of Clinical Leadership, Clinical expertise with commitment to excellent standards of patient care, supporting in processes relating to people management , providing Training and Education to peers and new staff, supporting and leading the team in adhering to areas of compliance and governance whilst utilising proficient communication skills to support our patients and staff.
