Description

A small but well-established business based in Leeds are looking to add a Purchase Ledger Clerk to its team small finance team reporting ultimately to the Finance Controller.

The role is to work as part of an established team with a view to developing their career in accounts over the long term.

The duties include, but are not limited to - To assist the Accounts Department with all areas of purchase ledger.

Coding & posting invoices
Gaining the appropriate authorisation on invoices
Matching to purchase orders
Payment runs and checking statements.
Management of the purchase ordering system
Other Ad hoc duties when needed Required We would be keen to hear from individuals with the following skills and experience:
A strong background in Purchase ledger and dealing with purchase invoices.
Competent in Microsoft packages, (excel) and previous experience of Sage would be an advantage.

Skilled in multitasking, prioritisation of workload, good organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills This is a great opportunity for someone with some strong Purchase Ledger experience to join a business who pride themselves in the progression and development they can offer their staff members over the long term.
