    Private Capital. Tax Senior Manager

    EY's Private Capital Tax team is the largest such practice in the UK with an exceptional reputation for sector expertise and close, trusted adviser, relationships across a broad range of clients including global financial institutions and market-leading boutiques, high and ultra-high net worth individuals and investment and business structures.

    It provides corporate, partnership and personal tax advisory services.
    This role is relevant for an individual with corporate, personal, owner managed business, or a mixed tax background.

    EY's Private Capital Tax team provides a full suite of tax advisory and compliance services to non-listed (i.e., not publicly traded) Financial Services businesses, dealing with the UK and international tax affairs of the business itself, owners, employees and other stakeholders.

    We also work with many ultra-high net worth and high-profile individuals, advising them on their personal needs as well as their business holdings or investment structures (e.g. trusts, funds or family companies). This includes asset management businesses, fintechs, and other non-listed financial services organizations.

    Due to the ongoing success and growth of the team, we have new opportunities for experienced and talented individuals to join our London or Manchester offices, working within the Private Capital Tax team.

    You will receive extensive training and support from a variety of tax professionals to assist you in building a successful career within EY.

    Leading the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding UK and international tax advisory projects to our clients, and provide support to our growth strategy in the private capital market;
    Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.

    High-level of familiarity and practical tax knowledge in advising individuals, families and their investment structures, UK corporate tax and/or partnership matters.

    Client-focused, with the ability to deliver pragmatic, solution-oriented advice in a commercial context.
    Ensure delivery of quality work and take day to day leadership of delivery team.
    Computer literacy, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
    ACA / CTA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification
    Strong tax technical skills
    Experience of coaching and developing junior staff
    manage, mentor and train junior staff and work with people from across the business
