    Description

    Indirect Tax Manager - Up to £70k** A growing company (a household name within it's field) is seeking an in-house indirect Tax Manager to join their team.

    The chosen candidate will work within a small tax team, focusing on the indirect tax compliance function with responsibilities in preparing and reviewing monthly VAT returns.

    This position offers a blend of compliance and advisory work, making it an excellent opportunity for newly qualified or soon-to-be qualified tax professionals seeking to transition into an in-house role.

    Supporting the Head of Indirect Tax to advise on VAT and SDLT implications on various land acquisitions.
    Handling day-to-day inquiries from Tax Assistants regarding the preparation of monthly VAT returns.
    Collaborating with regional teams to address VAT, SDLT, and CIS inquiries, and providing tax training support.

    Managing VAT registrations, CIS registrations, and options to tax, while ensuring the Tax Library remains comprehensive and current in coordination with the Assistant Direct Tax Manager and Indirect Tax Manager.

    Assisting the Head of Indirect Tax and Indirect Tax Manager in advising on VAT and SDLT implications for various land acquisitions.

    Iinvolvement in corporation tax compliance, including aiding in the annual preparation and submission of corporation tax (for limited companies) and self-assessment (for LLPs) tax returns.
