    This role is based with Procurement & Supply chain specialising in Purchasing

    Job Description

  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries The Successful Applicant

    A successful Purchasing Manager should have:

  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
  • CIPS - Not essential but desired
  • Proven working experience in product management
  • Great attention to detail
  • Managing a Team of three Purchasing Administrators
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analysing data

    This role is Hybrid with 2 office days per week at Head office based in Cheltenham What's on Offer
  • A competitive salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
