    Job Title: Release Manager

    Location: West London (Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office)

    Sector: Renewable Energy and Sustainability

    Salary: Up to £75,000 + Benefits + Bonus Scheme

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Release Manager to join our Cyber Security and DevOps team.

    Position Overview:

    The Release Manager will be responsible for overseeing the release management lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating, and managing releases across the enterprise for multiple applications within our Cyber Security and DevOps team. The role demands a keen understanding of release management processes, excellent communication skills, and a basic knowledge of cyber security and DevOps technologies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Release Management: Plan, manage, and coordinate releases across multiple environments and platforms. Ensure that releases are delivered on time and meet or exceed quality standards.
    • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop release schedules, manage release calendars, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
    • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the release management process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Risk Management: Assess risks associated with releases and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact on the business.
    • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related information, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring clear communication throughout the release cycle.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the Cyber Security, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure alignment and successful integration of new releases.
    • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive release documentation and ensure all release processes are well documented and followed.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in release management or a similar role within a technology-focused environment.
    • Knowledge: Basic understanding of cyber security principles and DevOps practices.
    • Skills:
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Proficiency with release management tools and software.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
    • Certifications: Relevant certifications in release management, project management, or DevOps are a plus.
