    Description
    Westbury Medical Centre is looking to recruit a Physician Associate.

    The successful applicant will be anchored to our Surgery and will develop consistent professional relationships with the 8 other Physician Associates who are permanent members of our team, a nominated clinical supervisor GP and a professionally diverse healthcare team.

    This GP Surgery is in Wood Green, London N22, and is a very friendly GP practice with very high rates of staff retention.

    This Surgery goes to great lengths to ensure the PA team feels supported and valued. GP Partners have an open-door policy for any queries.

    We are looking to recruit a Physician Associate (PAMVR essential and ideally with MSc) who is enthusiastic about primary care.

    No previous working primary care experience is mandatory and we are happy to consider a newly qualified PA.
    This is a full-time, 37.Monday 9am- 5pm (AM Admin, PM telephone clinic)
    30 (AM f2f, PM Telephone clinic)
    8 embedded PAs in practice who are an excellent resource for training and support. PA training practice (St George's PA School)

    Working schedule will comprise majority time providing first point of contact care for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems utilising clinical skills in both face to face and telephone/video clinics.

    Examples of work our other PA's help with includes infection control, medical report writing, safeguarding work, virtual clinic, lab results and home vist sessions.

    CPD is encouraged by way of attending relevant courses and meetings (usually at Surgery expense). At our GP Surgery there are social events for staff throughout the year (e.g. boat trips, evening meals, Sunday brunches and Christmas meals). Applications are welcome from newly qualified Physician Associates.
    We ask that a PA joining our Surgery will:
    Commit to the Surgery
    Be a friendly, flexible, reliable, hard-working, and committed member of the clinical team
    Be prepared for a variety of sessions, f2f clinical appointments, telephone consultations, video consultations, (sometimes) home visits. Distribution of work will depend on need throughout year.
    We are looking to recruit a Physician Associate (PAMVR essential and ideally with MSc) enthusiastic about primary care. No previous working experience is necessary and we are happy to consider a newly qualified PA for the role.

    1 month induction programme with experienced GP (some PAs require less) 8 embedded PAs in practices who are an excellent resource for training and support.

    Supervising GP has presented at annual PA Conference and we are a PA training practice.
    Varied portfolio (mainly face to face and telephone/video consultations but also virtual correspondence clinic, home visits, medicals, reports, lab results on occasion.)

    This is a full time, 37.Working schedule will comprise majority time providing first point of contact care for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems utilising clinical skills.
