    Description

    Design Manager - Fit-Out

    Permanent, Full-time

    Location: Central London

    Salary: £60,000 - £85,000

    My client is a dynamic and well established fit-out contractor with their head office based in Central London.

    Initially on a high end commercial Cat B and heavy refurbishment project. Working with my client to deliver some of the most innovative, sustainable and technically advanced high end & commercial office fit out projects in London

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Driving all design related project outcomes.
    • Representing the project team at client review meetings.
    • Assisting the construction managers in all design issues as and when required.
    • Coordinate the integration of the building services with the architectural and structural elements of the project.
    • Identify potential design problems and offer solutions.
    • Input into the Contractors Proposals document for D&B projects.
    • Ensuring design is compliant with statutory requirements and applicable standards.

    Key Skills

    • In-depth knowledge of the design and construction process, both refurbishment and fit out
    • Understands the pre-construction process
    • Can organise and manage the design phase of a project
    • Has been involved in projects from cradle to grave.
    • Excellent communication.
    • Good presentation skills
