    Description
    Mechanical Project Engineer - Building Services

    Market-Leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering business is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer for an office-based role in Essex.

    Suitable for Mechanical Engineers, Projects Engineers or Design Engineers with mechanical qualifications and experience within building services
    The role will involve all aspects of mechanical engineering of projects, from enquiry or conception stage through to completion, including (but not limited to):
    Developing electrical services designs and production of technical documentation including working drawings, schematics, installation detail drawings, technical submittals, supporting design calculations etc, to a level of detail required for site installation
    Estimating and pricing enquiries and dealing with tender submissions Liaising with clients, main contractors and/or design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
    Co-ordinating services designs and requirements with the mechanical division and other external contractors

    Educated to a minimum of HNC level in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent related discipline
    Minimum of three years' work experience in a similar role and/or environment
    Salary 40, ,000 depending on experience
    ~ Progression opportunities to Project Manager
    ~ Office-based with the option for hybrid working
    ~33 days holiday
