- Deliver the country specific Induction Training programme for all new Care Professionals, ensuring they attain the relevant level of competence to deliver their role.
- Complete on the job competency assessments to ensure Care Professionals have the right skills and knowledge.
- Work closely with the office team to ensure all new Care Professionals are fully supported and complete all aspects of training and competency checks within their first 3 months of employment.
- Responsible for delivering training as outlined in the Care Professional Development Journey for all Care Professionals, ensuring all relevant refresher training is completed within the correct timescales.
- Develop training and enhance the skills of the existing team through personal development plans.
- Identify and agree additional training or development needed to build competence and confidence of Care Professional.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of all training, identifying training gaps and recommending relevant training solutions to meet these needs.
- Work with Care Professionals and role model high quality care in the client's home.
- Fully Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring training records and the team's training compliance is up-to date at all time.
- To keep up to date with all new developments in the Health and Social Care Sector and ensure all training materials reflect current legislative requirements.
- Identify relevant funding opportunities for training.
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
- Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
- Conduct Care Professional appraisals, supervisions and support visits.
- Maintain accurate Care Professional records on Home Instead software (Currently People Planner and My Learning Cloud)
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all Care Professionals in the team.
- Support and mentor Care Professionals.
- When required, conduct client and Care Professional introductions and in general work with and provide support to the Client Experience team.
- Any other duties as directed by your line manager.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
- Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
- Must have relevant training experience & relevant up to date qualifications in line with training delivery requirements of the office.
- A good knowledge of health and social care.
- Must have experience in preparing and delivering training programmes.
- Must hold at least a Level 3 in Health & Social Care with a commitment to work towards or hold a Level 5
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate and motivate others, helping them to achieve their potential.
- Good working knowledge of IT Systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite, working with databases and virtual communication platforms with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies where appropriate.

You will be responsible for the implementation, overview, organisation, and delivery of training programmes to improve the knowledge, skills, and competence of Care Professionals. Ensuring that our clients receive the appropriate support and a high-quality service.
The role is full time, 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday and is based at our Office on Worle High Street. Some out of hours working may be required, but this can be taken back in lieu. Salary £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
