    My client are a leading provider of cutting-edge solar solutions, committed to revolutionising the renewable energy sector. As they continue to expand their presence in the market, they are seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team

    As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales efforts within the Utilities, Investors and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) customer base.

    Your primary responsibility will be to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

    Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
    Identify and prioritise target accounts within the utilities and EPC segments, leveraging market research and industry insights.

    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, and product development to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional customer value.

    Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals that align with business objectives and customer requirements.

    Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making and stay ahead of the curve.

    The successful Business Development Manager will:
    • Have demonstrable commercial experience of selling Solar or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the UK.

    Be able to travel across the UK with ad hoc visits to the head office in the South East.
