AECOM is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our Global Procurement team to work across geographical boundaries supporting different categories of indirect spend.

We're looking for someone who has experience of procuring services and driving change in a decentralized organization where procurement's influence is growing.

The role will require the successful candidate to embrace a data driven approach to procurement and will suit someone who is a results-orientated self-starter, with a strategic mindset to think outside the box and consider different sourcing strategies based on the needs of that spend area and the geographies in scope.

This will be a remote/virtual position that can be based from a variety of global locations.

Lead the delivery of approved strategic sourcing projects across multiple countries, management of the Rfx process (RFI/RFQ/RFP) and taking accountability to implement contracts to achieve cost savings and improve quality and service levels.

Identify new areas for cost savings and consider appropriate sourcing strategies ranging from renegotiation of an existing contract to full RFP.

Utilize procurement technology and data to improve efficiency across the sourcing process, ensuring quality of service to AECOM stakeholders.

Support wider AECOM stakeholders with supplier relationship management for strategic suppliers, including the use of key performance indicators and escalation of performance issues where necessary, to maintain value post contract and help to realise forecast cost savings.

Where necessary as part of a strategic sourcing project, work with AECOM Source-to-Pay 'process owners' to consider end to end buy-channel processes with a view to improving efficiencies with our supplier base, considering purchase order compliance and adoption, workflow and approvals, and payment timescales.

Support the development and capability of the Global Procurement team by demonstrating high standard of delivery and sharing best practice.

Strong grasp of core strategic sourcing skills including data analysis & opportunity assessment, defining requirements, Rfx/tender creating & management, negotiation, contract drafting

Commercial competence, with an awareness of differing types of cost savings and experience of working across different categories of indirect spend.

Ability to engage with global stakeholders and build rapport and project buy-in. Relocation assistance is not available for this position

Depending on your employment status, AECOM benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits, paid time off, leaves of absence, voluntary benefits, perks, U.S.

and global well-being programs, employee assistance program, business travel insurance, service recognition awards, retirement savings plan, and employee stock purchase plan.
