    Are you motivated, hard-working with a desire to learn about the HVAC / Engineering sector within a fast-paced Hire Market and Events Industry? Watkins Hire is currently recruiting for an Events Project Manager based out of the Walsall area.

    The main goal of this role will be to identify and develop New Business Opportunities within the UK Events industry whilst maintaining strong relationships with our existing customer base.

    Project Manage all Hire Contracts from point of enquiry through to the successful delivery of the project. Effective management and deployment of company resources including equipment, labour, and materials. Making sure all projects are delivered safely and to the complete satisfaction of the customer. What will I be doing as an Events Project Manager?
    Effective planning and management of events projects on site (this is a field-based role)
    Ensuring all projects are delivered to the satisfaction of our clients
    Planning and management of all on-site labour requirements by effective deployment of engineers and contractors
    Creation and provision of all project-specific Risk and Method Statements
    Management and coordination of any site-specific, project requirements, liaising with supporting departments
    Work closely with the Events Operations Supervisor and Depot Based teams to ensure effective communication of the project at all stages
    Work closely with the Carrier Operations Team to ensure Carrier rental fleet is effectively deployed and utilized
    Responsibility for specific project administration ensuring teams complete required site paperwork
    Strong background in the Events industry
    Have experience in installation/servicing HVAC temperature control equipment (would be advantageous)
    Experience in Project Management
    UK Driving Licence
    IT Literate with MS Office skills
    25 days Holidays plus stats (if you work bank holidays you get a day back and double time)
