- Deliver sales and margin goals for the division
- Ensure volume growth in Abbott Contract areas
- Achieve annual national market share targets
- Recruit, retain and coach/develop people, motivating high performing teams
- Manage budgets within agreed parameters, assist in forecasting and budget planning
- Contribute to and delivering divisional strategic goals
- Identify opportunities, supporting key accounts and customers, and driving the contracting process
- Establish key relationships with industry/customer groups as well as Opinion leader development and liaison with key professional bodies
- Monitor KPI's and ensuring data warehousing utilised to provide full effort results capabilities
- Assist in the identification of new product opportunities and ensuring suitable launch and activity strategies
- Drive sales force effectiveness, omni channel activities etc. and assist marketing develop campaigns
- Lead sales conferences and fully contribute to the Nutrition Leadership team
- A degree
- Prior sales management/sales director experience within healthcare (nutrition/pharma ideally)
- Solid understanding of regulatory, medical and contracting functions
- Ideally some prior experience within marketing
- Strong analytical skills/commercial acumen, negotiating skills and will to win
