Post apprenticeship experiences as an Instrumentation/Controls Multi Skilled Technician
Experience with Purified Water systems, Agitator speed sensors, MCERT flowmeters and VOC gas analysers is beneficial.
Knowledge of high integrity PCS and PLC programming would be desirable
Efficiently conduct corrective and preventative instrumentation maintenance activities originating form work generated by (but not exclusively to) the Computer Maintenance Management system.
Proactively identify maintenance plan improvements of omissions, working with the Engineering Workshop Supervisor to ensure all maintenance PM plans remain relevant, are technically correct and compliant.
Ensure all documentation of maintenance activities are to GxP standards both in paper-based records and the Computer Maintenance Management System and that accurate reports are generated.
Work on small projects where required, including design/installation and commissioning or minor systems (new or alterations).Constantly seek new, innovate and cost advantageous methods of completing the work without compromising safety or quality.
Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and be proactive in addressing potential issues of hazard and risk and reporting such issues to management for prompt action.
