Description
Business Development Manager - Retail Team Overall Objectives/ Purpose of the Role:
To achieve your Sales and GP target for your area by selling all Services and Solutions OT Group provide, in order to generate New Business for the company.
A sales position to generate new account wins with an estimated annual spend in excess of £100K p.a. per customer.
You must ensure compliance is adhered to on all Company initiatives.
Main Duties/ Responsibilities Involved:
New Business is the Primary Role of the Business Development Manager.
You will be expected to achieve your annual new business target of £800k invoiced sales, you should be aiming to achieve in excess of £1m worth of new business billed in a year.
You will be required to generate leads either by yourself or through working with the Corporate Account Team. These leads should then be worked with to qualify to prospect level and then convert to spending accounts. Accounts will then be passed to an Account Manager for development.
The Business Development Manager shall be awarded an agreed % of GP £'s as commission on your target accounts.
The Business Development Director will be required to sell the complete OT Group range of products and services.
The Business Development Manager can and should call upon the services of the specialist teams looking after Print, Furniture, Managed Print Services, Workplace and Workwear, where an opportunity warrants their inclusion.
Business Development Manager must ensure that full compliance of the company's chosen reporting tool is adhered to, and it is used to agreed levels including pipeline, opportunities, appointments, performance etc.
It is the Business Development Manager's duty to ensure that all requests from their respective line management are responded to within any set or agreed timescales.
