As a Clinical Skills and Quality Trainer, you will be responsible for the support, coaching and overall training of clinical staff.
Main duties of the job
Implement various learning methods ( coaching, job-shadowing, online training) to ensure that learning is appropriate to individual/teams and that learning is maximised
To work closely with the Quality and People teams in planning and creating training materials to ensure that they are appropriate, reflect current best practice and legal and regulatory requirements
Support the delivery of the Quality Assurance tool across all areas of the business to ensure compliance with quality standards
Support the delivery of training following the identification of learning from incidents to reduce further occurrences and improve patient experiences
Act as the Trainer for key courses such as cannulation and moving and handling
Support the review of data and preparation of reports associated with statutory, mandatory, and clinical skills training to ensure the organisation is compliant and taking appropriate action where it is not
Deliver clinical skills training for venepuncture, cannulation, and other identified clinical skills to ensure clinical colleagues are competent to apply these techniques

Job descriptionJob responsibilities
