    Finance Regulatory Controller Director (AVP)

    Glasgow

    The Regulatory controller team in Glasgow (Reg) is responsible for executing and supervising regulatory capital processes across market risk, credit risk, own funds, and leverage. The team is also accountable for external reporting. This broad remit allows the team to collaborate with various clients and stakeholders globally, providing a valuable opportunity to learn about diverse businesses and products within the firm. Regulatory Controllers have a presence in Glasgow, Frankfurt, Budapest, New York, London, and Mumbai.

    What will you be doing?

    As part of the Regulatory Controller organization in Glasgow, the successful candidate will support compliance with existing processes, assess and develop new Regulatory requirements, handle management reporting, and participate in the supervision of external regulatory reporting submissions. They will collaborate with colleagues in the Regulatory EMEA model and other key stakeholders in Finance and Risk across London, Frankfurt, Budapest, and Mumbai.

    Detailed responsibilities include:

    • Develop an understanding of key Regulatory requirements impacting calculation, reporting, and disclosure.
    • Manage time-sensitive internal and external reports and queries from senior management and regulators.
    • Support strategic development, challenge and enhance processes and controls, improve efficiencies.
    • Oversee reporting cycles, serve as a key contact, resolve issues, host signoff meetings.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistency in capital-related data across different mediums.
    • Supervise team deliverables, provide training, and support Pillar 3 related activities.

    Qualifications

    What we're looking for:

    • Experience in financial services or related fields, knowledge of Financial Markets/products and Regulatory environment.
    • Detail-oriented, numerical skills, commitment to self-development, strong communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data mining, issue investigation, root cause analysis.
    • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines, taking ownership of multiple deliverables.
