Description

Finance Regulatory Controller Director (AVP) in Glasgow

The Regulatory Controller team in Glasgow (Reg) is responsible for executing and supervising regulatory capital processes across market risk, credit risk, own funds, and leverage, along with associated external reporting.

The team collaborates with various stakeholders globally, such as the Credit Risk department, Market Risk department, Operations, Regulatory Policy, Legal Entity Controllers, Treasury, and Business Unit, providing a valuable opportunity to immerse in diverse business aspects and products.

Develop understanding of key Regulatory requirements impacting calculation, reporting, and disclosure.
Manage time-sensitive internal and external reports and queries.
Support strategic development of firm systems and enhance processes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure consistency in capital-related data.

What will you be doing?

Assess and develop new Regulatory requirements and manage external regulatory reporting submissions.
Partner with colleagues in the Regulatory EMEA operating model and other key stakeholders.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
Supervise team members' deliverables and provide training where necessary.
