- Support Account manager in preparation for customer meetings and attend when required.
- Build relationships with buying assistants and buyers.
- Own the promotional proposal and new line set up forms process.
- Coordinate Grocery channel information gathering, reporting and meetings.
- Monitor details of competitor activity and communicate internally to the cross functional team.
- Input to project work where appropriate.
- Sales and margin for own/specific accounts – delivering to targets as set out in budget (and stretch targets)
- 1-2+ years' experience working with the UIK Grocers and familiarity with their systems
- A desire to work with the 'Big 4' Grocers
- An intermediate knowledge of Excel; numerate, with good attention to detail
- Effective written and spoken communicator (in English)
- Willingness to travel within the UK for customer meetings including some overnight stays
- You will be a strong team player who values team success as highly as individual success
- You will possess a proactive nature and strive for continuous personal and business improvement
- Ability to build relationships across different teams

About the Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a National Account Executive. where you will support the Snr National Account Manager to deliver ambitious and exciting growth plans across the UK Grocery channel.
You will be key in ensuring that we deliver our commercial partnership agenda with Tesco and Sainsbury's. You will be a key day to day contact for our customers and will ensure our levels of contact availability make us easy to reach and enjoyable to work with. You will be responsible for helping shape and deliver successful JBPs and Promotional Strategies as well as managing account budgets and investment.
Starting off as a National Account Executive, you'll be developing a sound foundation in all commercial aspects of the business - getting to know the brands, customers and supporting processes. Interpreting data will be key and presenting this to relevant internal stakeholders will be a key part of the role. As your knowledge of the products and business grows, you'll soon be tasked with taking on your first accounts. We are looking for an individual who will help grow the different brands bringing new ideas and show initiative.
