    Recovery Community Development Manager - ROAR

    Do you want to help build a brighter future for communities and individuals in Rochdale doing a highly rewarding job? Turning Point's drug & alcohol services are currently expanding during a really exciting time in the sector with new funding and investment.

    As a Team Manager you will assist in delivering Turning Point's substance use strategy within a multi-disciplinary service which reflects our person centred values and the high levels of ambition we have both for the recovery of the individuals for whom we provide support and the development of our own staff, whilst also working collaboratively within the partnership.

    We offer a starting salary of £34,125 rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, rising to £39,921 per year.

    Leading and Championing the development and delivery of services and community activity that supports long term recovery
    Providing visible leadership to public, community and voluntary organisations in relation to substance use recovery
    Identifying opportunities to develop and support peer led recovery
    Oversight and management of sub contracts relating to activity supporting recovery (EG ETE, Activity Work etc)
    Administer an asset fund to support individuals and groups/organisations financially with activity that supports recovery
    Identifying, risk assessing and management satellite provision in community buildings
    Develop partnerships and forums to engage with agencies and organisations to support the building of recovery infrastructure in the community

    Developing the role of carers an families in recovery and identifying and managing support to these in their own right.

    Demonstrable leadership skills and flexible and adaptable leadership style;
    In depth understanding and ability to operationally and performance manage the functions of the team;
    Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills;
