    Technical Management – Equipment Engineer
    Lancashire / Hybrid working
    Permanent and contract available
    Delkia is a fast-growing engineering and technical company based in Cumbria and Preston, Lancashire.

    We are proud of our reputation as a specialist systems integrator for safety-related & mission-critical systems in aerospace, clean energy & maritime sectors; providing consultancy, electrical, instrumentation & control system engineering design & build services – with our own production facilities & Electronics lab.

    We have an exciting opportunity to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated Product Management – Equipment Engineers to join our dynamic team at Delkia.

    Our aerospace team is looking to provide competent engineering support to a major local defence contractor.

    Candidates will be required to obtain security clearance and to work on site when required (initially 4-5 days per week to enable training and familiarisation, with the expectation of evolving to 1-2 days on site per week, or fortnight, allowing more working from home).

    Manage the supplier's engineering programme
    # Attend supplier reviews (virtual and face to face) as required
    # Coordinate evidence to support Design Certification delivery including Technical Publications and Logistical support aspects
    # Attend internal progress and management reviews
    # Support equipment Qualification Plans associated with Certification, optimising installation, rig, and flight testing as required
    # Support to Physical/Functional Configuration Audits
    # Engineering Degree qualified or equivalent in Aerospace or Systems Engineering. Experience in avionic engineering domain. Demonstrable experience and training of critically reviewing product related regulations and standards establishing a robust process to assuring customer deliverables. Broad Systems engineering lifecycle knowledge (ISO15288.Understanding of the MAA Regulatory Environment and MACP. Dedication to quality, configuration, reliability, security and safety with a data and evidence driven mindset. MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), and CAD / PLM / ERP literacy.
